UMC announced that it will build a factory in Singapore to vigorously expand production to meet mark

According to the plan made by UMC, the monthly production capacity of the first phase of the new plant is 30,000 pieces.
It is expected to be mass-produced by the end of 2024, with 22nm and 28nm processes
as the main force, mainly for the needs of 5G, Internet of Things and automotive electronics. The investment amount is USD 5 billion.
